Mike has been in the golf course design business since 1985, and has extensive experience in all facets golf course development, construction and operations.

He has worked on over 25 golf course projects in many different capacities, and on a myriad of different project sites. Mike has worked with many different architects before coming aboard with Albanese & Lutzke, and he understands the how to lead a project
to a successful outcome. He has a long history with world famous architect Pete Dye, where his was key manager.  Mike worked with Pete on many of his most famous projects including Teeth of the Dog in the Dominican Republic, Whistling Straits, Colleton River and many others.  Many of the projects on which Mike has worked have received acclaim from the top golf publications -- Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Links.

Mike understands the golf course development process from the start through to the end. Mike’s skillset includes construction management, creating budgets, preparing schedules, coordinating manpower, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating professionals and ensuring projects are created on time and on budget.

Mike’s 25 years of experience creating high quality golf venues makes him a valuable member of our team.  His extensive work in the Dominican Republic and Carribean make him very valuable for our clients in this region.  There is nothing Mike has not seen in this business.
