Timberstone | Iron Mountain, Michigan

Scope of Services:
Complete Design from Concept through Construction.

Timberstone won a national award from Golf Digest as one of the best new golf courses to open in 1998.

The key to the success of Timberstone lies in its routing, and its use of natural features as a genesis of form. The goal was to have golfers slowly trek up the mountain, without realizing they were ascending, only to be surprised by the vista as they cascade down the final holes on each nine hole loop.   And, by incorporating the rock present on the site with the golf features, the entire experience leaves golfers aching for more.
